Another Year. Another Chance to Start A-new.
10:55AM and the date is December 31st. As the clock slowly ticks and the time moves towards the the end of another beginning, I sit and wonder if I accomplished everything I wanted to since 2012.
1) My family is healthy and my baby sister is making great progress.
2) I have a sweet boyfriend.
3) I have a job which I hate but currently working on getting a new one.
4) I am surving.
I think I summed up my year so far. Not to mention that I started taking acting classes, signed with a modeling agency (which has done shit for me since) as well as an acting agency, I competed in this outrageous modeling talent showcase (where I was the biggest girl there) and didn't make it far asides from two ceritifcates which told me that my future lies in acting and not modeling. I auditioned for an ABC Network show and didn't get the part but this only fuelled my desire to make it in this industry. I was told I am too "green" and need more practice. Hence I am signed up to take a month long class in January 2014!!!! I am excited about what the year holds for me.
Some awesome moments of 2013:
1) Seeing Queen Bey live and meeting the outrageously beautiful Luke James who was/is her opening act.
2) Auditioning and realising my dreams.
3) Getting to my goal weight of 130lbs (despite not staying there).
4) Making amends with lost friends and being where I am supposed to be.
5) Saving the best for last - my neice giving birth to a beautiful baby girl! I am a GREAT AUNT!!
2013 was and is a time that was a great many a moments spent in a light that burned bright.
And now with the year almost behind I set myself in motion and look ahead to the unknown. To a future that will burn bright as the embers of last year glow and the spark of tomorrow follows.
For 2014, I set my sights on saving money, travelling and working on myself - mentally and physically and being the best possible version of myself. In 2014 I want to make it. To be on the rising path that I know I am destined to be following. 2013 was my time for discovery and finding out what I wanted to do and I am ready for the challenge of 2014.
I am ready for the unknown and I welcome it.
